Alun Evans, our Head Professional, learned his golf at Newport Links and decided to make it his career. He moved to Radyr Golf Club in Cardiff to carry out his PGA Training and qualified in 1997.

He spent 4 years working at Pavenham Park GC in Bedford and at Garnant Park in Ammanford before returning to Newport Links and joining our team here.

He is on hand to offer technical (and fashion advice where appropriate!) and is more than happy to help those who need some extra tuition out on the practice range to improve their game.

Our Pro Shop stocks the finest quality merchandise such as Green Lamb, Glenmuir and Cutter & Buck whilst,  in hardware, we are an Authorised fitting centre for PING and Titleist. We are stocked for all golfers' requirements and are open 7 days a week.

Buggies and power trolleys are available on request.
